Option 1
Go to the File menu in Internet Explorer and make sure that the "Work Offline" option is un-ticked.
Option 2
In Internet Options set the Connection preferences to connect to 05COM whenever a Web page is requested.

- Windows 2000
On the Windows taskbar, click on START, then click on SETTINGS, then click on CONTROL PANEL. This will open up the Control Panel window.
In the Control Panel window, double-click INTERNET OPTIONS. This will open up Internet Options.
In Internet Options, click on the CONNECTIONS tab.
On the Connections tab, under DIAL-UP SETTINGS, tick the option Dial whenever a network connection is not present.
Click on the OK button.
NOTE: This will connect to 05COM Internet ONLY if 05COM is set as the DEFAULT connection.
- Windows 98
